Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) is seeking a NEMT Screening Specialist to identify member mobility needs and accurately record them in profiles. The role collaborates with schedulers, dispatchers, QA, and social work teams to address transportation challenges and ensure safe, efficient rides.

Requirements include a high school diploma (or equivalent), 1–2 years of call center experience, and English communication proficiency. Multilingual abilities, especially Spanish, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Bi/multi-lingual preferred, Spanish language proficiency highly desired.
• Strong active listening and critical thinking skills essential.
• Ability to explain complex information in an accessible manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist with member-initiated cancellations and no-shows in a timely manner.
• Monitor trip issues and escalate misalignments or potential abuse of transportation services.
• Monitor and respond to emails and messaging applications promptly.
• Provide consistently responsive and professional customer service.
• Conduct self-audits to ensure data entry accuracy.
• Participate in workgroups to brainstorm efficiency improvements.
• Meet or exceed call and data entry goals as set by management.
