Job summary

C1st LLC is seeking reliable NEMT Drivers to transport clients to medical appointments and other approved destinations. You will operate company vehicles, communicate with dispatch, use GPS, and uphold privacy and safety standards.

NEMT Driver – Non-Emergency Medical TransportationAbout C1st LLC

C1st LLC provides non-emergency medical transportation services throughout the local and surrounding communities. Our drivers help clients safely and reliably get to medical appointments, treatments, pharmacies, and other approved destinations.

We are looking for dependable, professional drivers who communicate well, follow instructions, use technology comfortably, and understand the importance of being on time.

Position Summary

As an NEMT Driver, you will transport clients safely between their homes, medical facilities, appointments, and other scheduled destinations using company vehicles.

This position requires more than simply driving. Drivers must communicate with dispatch, follow assigned routes and pickup instructions, properly use a smartphone and GPS, document trip information, and provide respectful customer service to every client.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to and from scheduled appointments.
• Follow routes, pickup times, and instructions provided by dispatch.
• Communicate promptly with dispatch regarding delays, problems, cancellations, or client concerns.
• Use a company-approved smartphone, GPS, and transportation applications throughout the workday.
• Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Immediately report vehicle damage, warning lights, maintenance concerns, or safety issues.
• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
• Assist clients entering and exiting the vehicle when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate trip and transportation information.
• Protect client privacy and confidential information.
• Provide professional, respectful customer service.
• Follow company safety policies and operational procedures.
• Be dependable, punctual, and ready to work when scheduled.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be 25 years of age or older.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have fewer than 3 points on their driving record.
• Meet C1st LLC and insurance-provider driving eligibility requirements.
• Successfully complete a background check consistent with applicable law.
• Be able to comfortably operate a smartphone.
• Be able to use GPS/navigation applications.
• Be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Be able to communicate effectively with dispatch.
• Be dependable and arrive to work on time.
• Maintain professional behavior with clients and coworkers.

Background Requirements

Certain criminal convictions, including qualifying felony convictions within the previous 7 years, may affect eligibility for this position. Background information will be reviewed in accordance with applicable laws, contract requirements, and company policies.
