City of Yuma seeks a Neighborhood Services Specialist to oversee housing and neighborhood services programs under the Neighborhood & Economic Development Division. You will manage HUD, HOME, and CDBG grants, ensure compliance, and coordinate with community partners to improve affordable housing and neighborhood redevelopment.

Under supervision, you will assist participants, review grants, and prepare reports for funding agencies.

Formación

• Associate's Degree in Business or Public Administration and two years experience administering CDBG, HOME, federal grant programs, and community organizations; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Administers and coordinates HUD, HOME, and CDBG grant-funded housing and neighborhood services programs.
• Oversees grant-funded services by outside agencies; reviews payment requests for accuracy and consistency with budgets.
• Monitors compliance with Federal regulations and reports to funding agencies.
• Coordinates with community organizations to facilitate applications and address program requirements.
• Assists participants and providers with questions and completing technical applications.
