Job summary

City of Prescott is seeking a CDBG/Community Development Coordinator to administer the City’s CDBG entitlement program in compliance with HUD requirements. Under supervision of the Planning Manager, this role coordinates program activities, supports Planning and Building Divisions, and oversees subrecipients while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, Urban Planning or related field; two years of federal grant administration experience.
• Knowledge of CDBG entitlement processes, reporting requirements, and program administration.
• Experience with HUD programs, budgeting and financial tracking.

Responsibilities

• Administers the City’s CDBG entitlement program, including budgeting, allocation of funds and financial tracking.
• Prepares the Consolidated Plan, Annual Action Plan and CAPER, and submits reports to HUD.
• Manages annual funding cycle, eligibility determinations and awards; staffs CAC and coordinates public hearings.
