Job summary

City of Coral Springs seeks an experienced administrator to oversee grant programs such as CDBG, HOME, NSP, SHIP and RCMP, including budgeting, reporting and program management. The role also prepares plans and presents to Planning and Zoning Board, City Commission, and Affordable Housing Advisory Committee.

The position manages contracts, RFPs, and compliance documentation, while coordinating with city departments to implement housing and community development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in GDBG, SHIP, and other federal/state grant program administration or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receipt, allocation, expenditure, evaluation, reporting and management of CDBG, HOME, NSP, SHIP, RCMP and related programs.
• Prepares agenda memoranda for Planning and Zoning Board and City Commission items.
• Prepares CDBG Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan and LHAP; prepares reports and acts as board representative to Affordable Housing Advisory Committee.
• Administers funding programs, including preparing reports and implementing programs; oversees funding and accounting for community development programs.
• Assists in preparation and presentation of staff reports and public presentations to city boards and commissions.
• Completes and reviews contracts, RFPs and other legal/administrative documents.
