Job summary

City of Rancho Cordova is seeking a Management Analyst I/II in the Neighborhood Services Department to provide analytical, financial, and administrative support across a diverse portfolio of programs.

You will assist with budgets, data analysis, contract and grant administration, and reporting while coordinating projects that improve Code Enforcement, Animal Services, Parking Enforcement, Rental Housing, Homeless Outreach, and Emergency Preparedness.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and financial skills with ability to manage budgets.
• Experience with contract and grant administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial and budget activities for Neighborhood Services programs, including processing and tracking financial transactions, assisting with division and program budgets, and supporting financial reporting.
• Collect, analyze, and report program data and performance metrics, developing statistical reports and tracking information to evaluate performance.
• Support contract and grant administration, including drafting contracts, monitoring financial activity, and providing ongoing management.
• Prepare professional reports and management analyses for staff and leadership.
• Provide analytical and administrative support across Neighborhood Services programs.
• Lead assigned programs and special projects across staff and stakeholders.
