Job summary

City of Modesto is seeking a Community Development Program Specialist I/II to analyze housing and homelessness programs and support residents, organizations, and city partners. You’ll develop data, reports, and funding recommendations while assisting with budgets and program administration.

Qualifications

• Two years of increasingly responsible experience in finance, community development, or a related field.
• Experience in housing programs is desirable.
• Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support to the Community Development Manager.
• Assist in the preparation of the division budget.
• Assist in the preparation of annual reports and funding applications.
• Prepare data and reports for citizen committees and housing programs.
• Advise residents and partners on housing programs and city initiatives.
