Responsibilities

  • Schedule and track monthly labs, diagnostic tests (EKGs, x-rays) and ensure timely filing of results.
  • Maintain lab books, charts, and accurate filing systems.
  • Process new admission charts and close charts per policy; verify documentation for resident deaths.
  • Run and print required daily reports (bowel/bladder, ADLs, rounding sheets, 672).
  • Greet technicians, prepare MobileX forms, and ensure signed orders are attached.
  • Make shift rounds, update communication tools, and share resident updates with clinical leaders.
  • Answer phones, assist with faxing, copying, and non-clinical support.
  • Facilitate communication between staff, residents, and physicians; assist with resolving concerns.
  • Complete monthly audits and MD visit tracking; ensure documentation is timely and accurate.

Your Impact:

The Neighborhood Coordinator is responsible for responsible for reminding residents of their scheduled specialists and physician appointments. You are required to manage all residents’ charts while ensuring all documentation is included. This role is responsible for preparing medical record packets for residents to take to their appointments. The NH Coordinator must communicate and coordinate appointments with residents, clinical staff, and residents, and process reports as needed. This position requires organizational skills, a focus on details, organized and committed to upholding the Inglis Values. Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively, and operate with discretion and professionalism.

What You'll Do:
  • Schedule and track monthly labs, diagnostic tests (e.g., EKGs, x-rays), and ensure timely filing of results.
  • Maintain lab books, charts, and accurate, alphabetical filing systems.
  • Process new admission charts and close charts per policy; verify documentation for resident deaths.
  • Run and print required daily reports (bowel/bladder, ADLs, rounding sheets, 672).

  • Make shift rounds, update communication tools, and share resident updates with clinical leaders.
  • Answer phones using standard greeting; assist with faxing, copying, and non-clinical support.
  • Facilitate communication between staff, residents, and physicians; assist with resolving concerns.
  • Complete monthly audits and MD visit tracking; ensure documentation is timely and accurate.
  • Partner with the Director of Nursing, Clinical Leaders, Neighborhood Coordinators, and the Director of Health Information and Compliance on scheduling-related matters and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling resident information and scheduling issues.
What We're Looking For:
Education & Work Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare scheduling, transportation coordination, or administrative support, preferably in a long-term care or residential setting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and electronic scheduling systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. 4
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and follow-through.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Pay Rate for this Role: $18.20/hr
