Job summary

Northern Biomedical Research Inc in Norton Shores, MI is seeking a Necropsy Technician I to perform perfusion, prosection, tissue handling and necropsy data management in a laboratory setting.

You will assist with sample collection, anesthesia procedures, equipment maintenance and ensure compliance with GLP, safety protocols, and documentation. High school diploma required; ALAT preferred; 1 year experience or 6 months with degree.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
• Familiarity with GLP and laboratory data collection.
• Basic understanding of study design and protocols.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data documentation.
• Good written and verbal communication; coachable and motivated.
• Experience in animal or life sciences is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Basic perfusion and prosection of tissues and organs.
• Tissue accountability, trimming, and weighing.
• Sample management and data review.
• Set up necropsy studies with labeling and data sheets.
• Operate necropsy equipment and maintain lab areas.
• Assist with euthanasia, sample collection, and waste handling.
