Job summary

Blattner is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team for electrical installation and commissioning of utility-scale solar and wind energy systems. The role involves interpreting electrical schematics, installing conduit and wiring, setting up inverters and transformers, and ensuring all systems meet code and safety standards.

Expect outdoor work, travel to job sites (100% travel), and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• State-issued unlimited journeyman license or equivalent with willingness to obtain license before start.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screen.
• Willingness to travel and relocate to the job site (100% travel).
• Must be able to work consistently outside, frequently in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain conduit, grounding, motors, transformers, generators, lights, appliances, circuits, wiring, and other electrical system equipment and components.
• Ensure compliance with design drawings, electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Set major equipment including breakers, switches, instrument transformers, reactors, and capacitor banks.
• Other labor-related responsibilities.
• Work outdoors for extended periods of time in various weather conditions.

WHAT MAKES YOU STANDOUT

• Forklift, skid steer, mini excavator, trencher, and/or manlift experience

Pay: $50.00-55.00 per hour; per diem based on eligibility
