Job summary

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an established agricultural cooperative in Nebraska to find an Agronomy Location Manager. The role leads the location’s staff, drives sales and margins, and ensures safe operations and compliance with DOT and other regulations.

You will oversee crop scouting, budgeting, and customer service, building strong producer relationships and implementing agronomic recommendations. The position prioritizes leadership, teamwork, and profitability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related agronomy experience required; 8+ years preferred.
• Previous leadership and personnel management experience preferred.
• Four-year degree and/or equivalent related experience.
• Strong knowledge of crop nutrients, crop protection products, seed, application practices, and agronomy operations.
• Experience managing day-to-day operations, staffing, scheduling, inventory, and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop location personnel; coordinate agronomy sales goals.
• Manage staffing and workflow during peak seasons; oversee inventory and purchasing needs.
• Provide agronomic recommendations involving fertilizer, crop protection products, and seed.
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, including DOT, OSHA, EPA, FDA.
