Frontier Cooperative seeks an experienced Operations Leader to guide market planning, customer strategy, and facility oversight across Nebraska operations. You will collaborate with regional managers and agronomy advisors to set strategic goals, optimize operations, and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and agricultural experience
• Knowledge of operational management, business management, accounting, budgeting, project management, and quality management
• Strong judgment, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Proven mentoring and coaching ability; able to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Basic math skills including proportions, percentages, and volume; able to prepare and interpret spreadsheets and graphs
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles, machinery, and equipment
• Valid operator's license and forklift certification required; CDL Class A with HazMat and Tanker endorsements preferred or obtainable within 60 days

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Regional Operations Manager and AG Advisors to develop market plans for new and existing customers; stay current on new agronomy products
• Recommend strategic operational goals by gathering business, financial, service, and operations data; define objectives, implement plans, and evaluate outcomes
• Enforce customer service standards; analyze and resolve complaints; promote improved products and expanded services in the trade territory
• Manage and maintain proper working condition of vehicles, machinery, equipment, buildings, and grounds
• Ensure equipment is cleaned regularly to prolong safe operation and promote a positive company image
• May perform general vehicle, machinery, and equipment maintenance and repairs
• Follow all company safety standards and comply with OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations
• Monitor inventory levels by ordering, receiving, and stocking; supervise plant operations and staff; monitor for leaks or spills and manage cleanup at chemical facilities
• Monitor for leaks or spills and manage cleanup and disposal at anhydrous ammonia station; assist with transfers as needed
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance across facilities and field operations
