Job summary

Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics seeks an experienced NDT/Welding Inspector to support industrial and energy projects at HPC. The role is site-based at Hinkley Point C with 10.5-hour shifts on a 10/4 pattern. Pay is SSA-based with lodge and travel paid where applicable.

Responsibilities include NDT and welding inspections to approved standards, equipment setup/calibration, and timely reporting. CSWIP 3.1/PCN MPI are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in NDT/Weld inspection to applicable codes and standards.
• Ability to set up, calibrate and verify NDT equipment and record results.
• Deliver clear inspection reports within agreed timescales.

Responsibilities

• Carry out NDT activities in accordance with procedures and standards.
• Set up, calibrate and verify inspection equipment.
• Perform preliminary inspection and checks before use.
• Interpret results against standards and acceptance criteria.
• Identify and report defects or indications and cross-check findings.
• Submit clear NDT/Weld inspection reports; Field View experience advantageous.
