Job summary

Advanced Atomization Technologies, Inc. is hiring an NDT Trainee I for 2nd or 3rd shift in Clyde, NY. You will work toward Level-2 certification in FPI and DR while performing inspections and learning required procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong computer skills, reading drawings, and the ability to travel up to 5% annually. Training starts on 1st shift with assignments based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Must have completed High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and understand detailed work instructions, procedures, and drawings.
• Strong computer skills; create spreadsheets and Word documents, use Excel formulas, data entry.
• Basic math and algebra skills.
• General science comprehension.
• Successfully complete eye test.
• Meet NAS-410 / Q09-02-4001 for present/future NDT certifications.
• Travel up to 5% of time (up to 3 weeks per year).

Responsibilities

• Certify to level-2 in FPI and DR within 2-years of NDT start date.
• Complete 3 certification tests (Level 2 - FPI, Level 1 & 2 - DR).
• Level-2 recertifications every 5 years.
• Understand and comply with NDT procedures and methods.
• Operate equipment, perform system checks, and maintenance as needed.
• Read prints/process drawings related to AA TECH products.
• Develop techniques for AA TECH products and improve processes.
• Examine parts for weld/braze flaws and defects; aim for high quality.
