Job summary

Advanced Atomization Technologies, LLC in Clyde, NY is seeking an NDT Technician certified in FPI and DR to join the QA team. The role focuses on certifying to level-2 within 1 year, inspecting parts daily for defects, and maintaining certifications per NAS410.

The job requires a high school diploma, 3 years of experience in radiography and penetrant testing, ability to read procedures and drawings, Excel proficiency, and willingness to travel up to 5% (about 3 weeks per year).

Qualifications

• Must have completed High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-years’ experience in digital radiography and fluorescent penetrant testing as a level-2 in each method per NAS410 preferred
• Ability to read, write, and understand detailed work instructions, procedures, and drawings.
• Capable of creating spreadsheets and Word documents, developing techniques within Excel, data entry, and Windows OS familiarity.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% (up to 3 weeks per year).
• Must meet NAS410 certification requirements for NDT methods.

Responsibilities

• Certify to level-2 in both Fluorescent Penetrant (FPI) and Digital Radiography (DR) within 1-year of NDT start date.
• Operate required equipment, perform system checks, and maintain QA records.
• Read prints/process drawings and develop techniques to improve inspection results.
• Examine parts for weld and braze flaws, defects, rework and ensure quality standards.
