Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Dover, NJ is seeking a Level III Trainee (FPI) for NDT, including visual/UT and penetrant methods. The role supports audits, training, and production duties with a clear path to certification.

Day shift with potential overtime, competitive benefits package, and on-site work. The training plan bridges to Secondary Level III certification; after training, duties include Level III tasks and production responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to pass Level III testing requirements.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends; no relocation benefit.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of Dover NJ will be considered.
• Experience in specific NDT method preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in internal, external, and customer audits.
• Assist in training Level I and II NDT inspectors.
• Assist in L1/L2 audits for product conformity and process comprehension.
• Ensure NDT processes and inspections meet product criteria.
• Maintain equipment, fixtures, and tools; perform daily system checks.
• Develop and maintain procedures under Level III guidance.
• Maintain required documentation and records for the method.
• Interpret specifications and blueprints under Level III guidance.
