Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Manufacturing NDT FPI Inspector for the 2nd shift (M-F, 2pm–10pm) at the Gibsonton, Florida site. You will support the Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection Line and carry NDT Level 2 responsibilities to meet customer specifications and applicable codes.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, SNT-TC-1A certifications, and progression toward PT certification with 12 hours of classroom training and 400 hours of OJT under a certified NDT Level I-III.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• SNT-TC-1A certifications and customer-specific exams required.
• Must become trained to PT certification with 12 hours classroom and 400 hours OJT under a certified NDT Level I-III.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Export control compliance required by law.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment; conduct examinations and interpret results per applicable codes and specs.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to Level I personnel.
• Organize and report NDT test results.
• Interpret FPI indications and determine acceptance according to work instructions.
• Record data and map results; support cross-training.
