Job summary

Webco Industries, Inc. is seeking an NDT Technician to ensure reliable non-destructive testing within the facility. The role maintains NDT equipment, conducts inspections, supports product development, and ensures compliance with quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma and experience in metals manufacturing, with knowledge of NDT methods like Eddy Current and Ultrasonic testing. Strong problem-solving, organization, and reporting skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; QA coursework desired.
• Prior metals manufacturing experience or internship.
• Familiarity with ISO and QS 9000 standards a plus.
• Experience with NDT (Eddy Current and Ultrasonic) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain NDT equipment to ensure testing continuity during production.
• Rebuild broken testers and equipment offline.
• Manage parts inventory and vendor relations for magnetic analysis equipment.
• Order lease parts and equipment as needed.
• Calibrate and maintain Olympus parts, probes, and equipment.
• Calibrate and maintain GE portable UT equipment.
• Conduct testing studies, end suppression studies, and capability studies.
