Job summary

GE Aerospace in the United States seeks an NDT Technician to prepare, calibrate, and operate specialized nondestructive testing tools. You will conduct UT, RT, MT and PT inspections to identify potential compliance issues while applying math to analyze data and interpret results.

The role emphasizes teamwork, cross-training, and adherence to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You will support EHS, maintenance, and production duties while upholding 5S standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year manufacturing, fabrication, inspection or mechanical engineering experience.
• Associates or Bachelors degree in a related technical field such as manufacturing, fabrication, or mechanical engineering.
• Experience with non-destructive testing methods and familiarity with industry standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, calibrate, and operate NDT tools and equipment to ensure accurate inspection results.
• Conduct NDT using UT, RT, MT, PT methods to identify compliance issues.
• Apply mathematical skills to analyze inspection data and interpret results.
• Promote teamwork and cross-training to improve performance and flexibility.
• Maintain clean, safe work area following 5S principles.
• Perform environmental, health, safety, quality and production-support duties.
