GKN Aerospace is seeking an NDT Tech II to perform basic nondestructive testing on titanium and aluminum rotating hardware. You will use ultrasonic, radiographic, PAUT, and other methods to verify structural integrity and interpret results per customer requirements.

The role is safety-sensitive under DOT regulations and may require random drug and alcohol testing. Experience with NAS-410 and training toward Level 2 is preferred.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience utilizing Non-Destructive Testing in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder due to security clearance requirements.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, to follow procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Perform NDT tests on rotating hardware.
• Undertake training to achieve Level 2 in various NDT methods to NAS-410.
• Operate ultrasonic, radiographic, PAUT, and other NDT equipment.
• Document and advise on test outcomes to the team.
• Review customer requirements and develop test methods and procedures.
• Interface with engineers and customers to improve processes.
