Job summary

GKN Aerospace is seeking an NDT Tech II to perform nondestructive testing on Titanium and Aluminum rotating hardware, using ultrasonic, radiographic, PAUT, and other methods.

The role requires training to Level 2 in multiple NDT methods and adherence to NAS-410 specifications, with a safety-sensitive designation under DOT regulations. Work involves interface with engineers and customers to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of NDT experience in a manufacturing environment.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card for security clearance requirements.
• Proficiency in English to follow safety procedures and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT tests on rotating hardware.
• Undertake training to Level 2 in Eddy Current, FPI, Radiographic, and Ultrasonic Testing to NAS-410.
• Implement procedures, instructions and techniques as required.
• Perform control checks on test method capability.
• Document and advise local team on test outcomes.
• Review customer requirements and maintain test processes and methodologies.
