Job summary

Crafted Staff seeks an experienced Level II Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Technician to perform Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) on aerospace components and assemblies. The role involves independent inspections, evaluating results, documenting findings, and ensuring product compliance with customer, industry, and company specifications.

The selected candidate will maintain equipment, review engineering drawings and specifications, and uphold quality and safety

Qualifications

Must have Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) per NAS410 or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of nondestructive testing experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Basic computer proficiency and experience with inspection reporting systems.

Responsibilities

Perform Level II FPI on aerospace components in accordance with procedures.
Perform Level II UT, including setup, calibration, testing, and result evaluation.
Interpret indications and compare against acceptance criteria.
Prepare inspection reports, certifications, and documentation.
Verify equipment calibration and maintain inspections records.
Ensure NAS410 and customer specifications compliance.
