Job summary

Lesueur Inc. in Minnesota is seeking an NDT Supervisor to oversee nondestructive testing activities, serving as NAS410 Level III for Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) and Radiographic Testing (RT) per customer specs and aerospace standards.

The role leads NDT personnel, maintains certification programs, approves techniques and procedures, and supports audits while ensuring timely inspection of castings and components with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• NAS410 Level III responsible for PT and RT.
• Develop, review, approve, and maintain NDT written practices, technique sheets, work instructions, inspection procedures, and training/certification records.
• Ensure compliance with NAS410, customer specifications, ASTM standards, aerospace and internal quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Level I and II NDT personnel.
• Administer qualification and certification examinations for NDT personnel.
• Interpret radiographic film and penetrant indications to determine product acceptability.
• Maintain NDT process controls including film processing, darkroom controls, penetrant system checks, equipment calibration, viewing conditions, and audit readiness.
• Coordinate daily inspection priorities with production and quality teams.
• Participate in customer, Nadcap, and internal audits; support corrective action investigations.
• Review and disposition nonconforming material related to NDT findings.
• Assist engineering and quality teams with defect analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety requirements and maintain safe operation of radiographic equipment and NDT areas.
