Job summary

ND Testing Inc. in Fontana, CA seeks an experienced Radiographic Testing (RT) Level III to lead all RT inspection activities in our aerospace NDT lab.

You will provide technical leadership, develop procedures, qualify personnel, support customers, and ensure regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has extensive experience inspecting aerospace castings, weldments, and fixtures using X-ray and Gamma methods, with NAS-410, ASTM, AWS, ASME, FAA, and Nadcap standards in focus.

Qualifications

• Current Level III in Radiographic Testing (RT).
• Minimum 10 years radiographic inspection experience.
• Minimum 5 years aerospace inspection experience.
• Experience with Gamma Radiography and film interpretation.
• Digital Radiography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Level III for Radiographic Testing.
• Develop, approve, revise RT procedures and work instructions.
• Interpret customer specifications and engineering drawings.
• Provide technical guidance to Level I/II inspectors.
• Review and approve radiographic techniques for image quality.
• Establish exposure techniques for complex aerospace components.
• Oversee radiographic inspection of aerospace castings, weldments, and components.
• Coordinate with Radiation Safety Officer and regulatory requirements.
• Train, mentor, qualify RT personnel and maintain NAS-410 records.
• Support Nadcap, FAA, ISO 9001/AS9100 audits and process-improvement.
