Job summary

Le Sueur Incorporated in Minnesota is seeking an experienced NDT Supervisor to lead nondestructive testing operations supporting manufacturing and customer requirements. Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or related field.
• Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) experience required.

Responsibilities

• Radiographic Testing (RT) using hard copy film.
• Develop, review, approve, and maintain NDT written practices.
• Develop, review, approve, and maintain technique sheets, work instructions, and inspection procedures.
• Ensure NAS410 compliance and alignment with customer specifications and ASTM standards.
• Supervise and support Level I and II NDT personnel.
• Administer qualification and certification examinations for NDT personnel.
• Interpret radiographic film and penetrant indications to determine acceptance.
• Maintain NDT process controls: film processing, darkroom controls, penetrant checks, calibration, viewing conditions, audit readiness.
• Coordinate daily inspection priorities with production and quality teams.
• Lead internal audits and corrective action investigations.
• Review and disposition nonconforming material related to NDT findings.
• Assist engineering and quality teams with defect analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety requirements and safe operation of radiographic equipment and NDT areas.
