Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, located in Mentor, OH, seeks an NDT Supervisor to lead a senior team across multiple NDT disciplines, ensuring safe, systematic, and quality-focused operations on the shop floor.

The role requires NAS410 Level II certification, supervisory experience, and the ability to mentor technicians while maintaining OEM procedures and documentation in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory or similar type responsibility.
• Technical competencies and familiarity in NDT procedures with inspection experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions, including reading shop drawings.
• Ability to pass skill level tests in other trades or disciplines.
• Basic knowledge of computers and standard software programs.
• Must pass Ishihara color perception and Jaeger reading tests per NAS410.

Responsibilities

• Supervise NDT department during assigned shift and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Oversee NDT inspections per OEM procedures across multiple NDT methods.
• Coordinate with Level III and trainers for personnel development and process improvements.
• Maintain documentation of results and monitor system performance checks.
