Apave America Inc. is seeking an entry level NDT/RT Assistant for a full-time position on a client site in the Wood River, IL area.

You will assist certified technicians, set up testing equipment, and learn NDT methods while gaining hands-on experience in UT, RT, MT, and PT. You will work outdoors in an industrial setting, follow safety protocols, complete required training, and pursue growth toward becoming a Certified Technician.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and pre-access drug and alcohol testing required.
• Pre-employment background checks will be required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment according to procedures under supervision.
• Assist and/or perform basic NDT inspections following established standards.
• Collect and record test data, including readings and observations.
• Maintain detailed documentation and prepare inspection reports.
• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in training programs.
