Job summary

Apave America Inc. is seeking a Level II NDT Technician to independently perform inspections using RT, UT, MT, PT, and PMI methods. You will interpret results, document findings, and ensure compliance with ASNT guidelines and client specifications.

The role requires equipment setup, data analysis, and reporting while collaborating with engineers and quality teams across projects in manufacturing, oil & gas, and aerospace environments. Must maintain safety and calibration standards on site.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Level II NDT certification in MT/PT/UT/RT or other specified methods.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant NDT training preferred.
• Current SPRAT and/or IRATA Rope Access certification is a plus.
• Ability to train NDT assistants and mentor junior staff.
• Valid driver's license and pre-employment background checks required.
• TWIC card or equivalent site access knowledge may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections using RT, UT, MT, PT, PMI, ISQ as assigned.
• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment; interpret test data and identify defects.
• Document inspection results with detailed reports, photos, and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with ASNT guidelines, codes, and client specifications.
• Maintain equipment calibration and perform quality checks for reliability.
• Coordinate with engineers and other personnel to discuss inspection needs and actions.
