Job summary

Acuren is recruiting for full-time NDT/RT Assistants for our St. Louis Park, MN location. You will help with calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations to determine acceptance or rejection and will record results according to written instructions.

Responsibilities include setting up NDT equipment, assisting Radiographers in calibration, performing tests to detect defects, and carrying equipment. A background check and QA documents are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have supporting QA documents (proof of classroom hours).
• Some college preferred.
• Technical background desired.
• Background check to verify trustworthiness and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations.
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.
