Job summary

Acuren is seeking RT Assistants to support calibrations, nondestructive testing, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations in accordance with written instructions and record results.

Responsibilities include setting up NDT equipment, assisting Radiographers with calibration, conducting tests to detect defects, recording results, and performing related tasks as assigned. Acuren emphasizes safety, reliability, and compliance across critical industries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
• Technical background desired.
• Background check required to verify trustworthiness and reliability per regulations.
• Driving record must meet company standards for vehicle use.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in calibrating NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist performing NDT procedures and transporting equipment.
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.
