Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Corp. in Braintree, MA seeks a Quality Control Inspector with NDT experience to join our fast-growing aerospace and industrial parts team. You will perform visual inspection, use measuring devices, and ensure castings meet drawings and standards.

This full-time role requires 3+ years in manufacturing, reading blueprints, and familiarity with VT/PT/MT testing. We offer comprehensive benefits, competitive pay from 24 USD/hour, and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in manufacturing or related field.
• Proficient with measuring tools and gauging devices.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and workmanship drawings.
• NDT inspection experience (VT/PT/MT) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect castings visually using measuring devices and prints.
• Code, mark, and stamp parts for proper processing.
• Apply various testing methods as required (pressure, magnetic particle, bubble) to castings.
• Keep accurate records and reports (scrap, discrepancy, incoming material)
• Prepare information for scrap review by plant staff and Quality Control Manager.
• Perform quality control audits as required.
• Ensure castings are marked and tested per standards/specifications.
• Straighten castings and prepare for X-ray.
