Valence Surface Technologies, LLC is seeking a Regional Responsible Level 3 NDT for the Midwest with expertise in NAS 410 and NDT program leadership. You will oversee method selection, procedure approvals, and audits, ensuring compliance across multiple sites and customers.

The role requires interpreting engineering drawings, developing inspection plans, and guiding Level I–III personnel. Travel within the Midwest is expected as part of oversight and improvements.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required; engineering degree preferred.
• NAS 410 Level III in penetrant (PT) and Level III in magnetic particle (MT) required.
• U.S. Persons and ITAR compliance required; Nadcap experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Maintain current NDT standards including NAS‑410, SNT‑TC‑1A, ASTM methods and OEM specs.
• Develop, maintain, and administer the company’s NDT Written Practice and certification programs.
• Serve as technical authority for NDT methods, including procedure approval and technique development.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to determine NDT methods, inspection sequences, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure compliance with customer, industry, and government regulations governing nondestructive inspection.
• Train and certify NDT personnel (NAS 410, Valence requirements, OEM procedures).
