Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Corp. in Albany, OR seeks a seasoned NDT Level III to ensure non-destructive testing processes meet customer specs and NAS410 requirements. The role directs training, maintains qualification records, and guarantees QA across aerospace castings and components.

You will oversee NDT staff, coordinate with QA, and ensure proper calibration and procedure approvals. Relocation assistance is offered to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• NAS 410 level III certification required; ASNT Level 3 preferred.
• Candidate must obtain dual (RT & PT) Level 3 within 12 months of hire.
• Education and degrees as specified above.

Responsibilities

• Administers and maintains NDT/X-Ray qualification program for Level I, II and III NDT personnel.
• Maintain qualification records, certifications and proficiency examinations.
• Provide or direct training, examination and certification of personnel.
• Perform NDT inspections per NAS410 and customer specs including visual, penetrant, x-ray.
• Attend production meetings and coordinate with QA and production to resolve issues.
• Oversee the work of NDT inspectors and ensure QA and safety procedures are followed.
• Record and evaluate test results; generate NDT and QA inspection reports.
• Maintain calibration of equipment and ensure procedural adequacy and approvals.
