Job summary

MISTRAS Group is hiring NDT Level II RT Technicians for long-term projects in Iron Mountain, MI and Appleton, WI. This full-time role offers sign-on bonuses and relocation packages.

You will perform RT inspections, calibrate equipment, and ensure radiation safety compliance. Candidates should hold ASNT Level II RT Certification (or equivalent), radiographer card where applicable, and 40-hour safety training.

Qualifications

• Must have ASNT Level II RT Certification or equivalent meeting SNT-TC-1A.
• State or Industrial Radiographer Card where applicable.
• Radiation Safety Training (40-hour) preferred.
• Experience with digital radiography (DR/CR) is a plus.
• Additional certifications (MT, PT, UT, VT, PMI) preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and inspection procedures.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform Level II RT inspections per procedures and codes.

NDT Level II RT Technician (Radiographic Testing)

Locations: Iron Mountain, MI & Appleton, WI

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking experienced Level II Radiographic Testing (RT) Technicians to support long-term industrial inspection projects in Iron Mountain, Michigan and Appleton, Wisconsin . SIGN ON BONUSES AND RELOCATION PACKAGES AVAILABLE!

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform Level II Radiographic Testing (RT) inspections in accordance with company procedures, customer specifications, and applicable industry codes.

• Set up, calibrate, and operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.

• Interpret radiographic images and evaluate inspection results.

• Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain required documentation.

• Ensure compliance with all radiation safety requirements and company safety policies.

• Perform equipment checks, maintenance, and calibration.

• Work closely with customers, project managers, and fellow technicians.

• Assist with additional NDT methods when qualified.

• Mentor and provide guidance to trainees and Level I technicians as needed.
