Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. seeks experienced Level II Radiographic Testing (RT) Technicians to support long-term industrial inspection projects in Iron Mountain, Michigan and Appleton, Wisconsin.

This full-time role offers sign-on bonuses and relocation packages. Responsibilities include performing RT inspections per procedures and codes, setting up radiographic equipment, interpreting images, and preparing accurate reports while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current ASNT Level II RT Certification (or equivalent meeting SNT-TC-1A).
• Current State or Industrial Radiographer Card (where applicable).
• 40-hour Radiation Safety Training preferred.
• DR/CR radiography experience a plus.
• Additional certifications such as MT, PT, UT, VT, or PMI preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and inspection procedures.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform Level II RT inspections per procedures, customer specs, and codes.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate radiographic equipment safely.
• Interpret radiographic images and evaluate inspection results.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety requirements and company policies.

• Mentor Level I technicians and assist with other NDT methods as needed.

We are seeking experienced Level II Radiographic Testing (RT) Technicians to support long‑term industrial inspection projects in Iron Mountain, Michigan and Appleton, Wisconsin. SIGN ON BONUSES AND RELOCATION PACKAGES AVAILABLE!

• Perform Level II Radiographic Testing (RT) inspections in accordance with company procedures, customer specifications, and applicable industry codes.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Interpret radiographic images and evaluate inspection results.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all radiation safety requirements and company safety policies.
• Perform equipment checks, maintenance, and calibration.
• Work closely with customers, project managers, and fellow technicians.
• Assist with additional NDT methods when qualified.
• Mentor and provide guidance to trainees and Level I technicians as needed.

Qualifications
