Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced NDT Level II Radiographic Testing Technician to support long-term industrial inspection projects across Heath, Toledo, Lima, and Columbus, Ohio.

You will set up and operate radiographic equipment, interpret images, prepare reports, and ensure radiation safety; sign-on bonuses and relocation packages are available. This role requires ASNT Level II RT and related licenses, with DR/CR experience a plus, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Active ASNT Level II RT certification required.
• Current radiographer card where applicable.
• 40-hour radiation safety training preferred.
• Experience with DR/CR imaging is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform Level II Radiographic Testing (RT) inspections per procedures and codes.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Interpret radiographic images and evaluate inspection results.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain documentation.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety requirements and policies.
• Perform equipment checks, maintenance, and calibration.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers, and fellow technicians.
• Assist with additional NDT methods when qualified.
• Mentor and guide trainees and Level I technicians as needed.

NDT Level II RT Technician (Radiographic Testing)

Locations: Heath, Toledo, Lima, Columbus, OH
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking experienced Level II Radiographic Testing (RT) Technicians to support long-term industrial inspection projects in Heath, Toledo, Lima, and Columbus OH. SIGN ON BONUSES AND RELOCATION PACKAGES AVAILABLE!

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform Level II Radiographic Testing (RT) inspections in accordance with company procedures, customer specifications, and applicable industry codes.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Interpret radiographic images and evaluate inspection results.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all radiation safety requirements and company safety policies.
• Perform equipment checks, maintenance, and calibration.
• Work closely with customers, project managers, and fellow technicians.
• Assist with additional NDT methods when qualified.
• Mentor and provide guidance to trainees and Level I technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• Current ASNT Level II RT Certification (or employer-based equivalent meeting SNT‑T‑1A requirements).
• Current State or Industrial Radiographer Card (where applicable).
• Radiation Safety Training (40-hour preferred).
• Experience with digital radiography (DR/CR) is a plus.
• Additional certifications such as MT, PT, UT, VT, or PMI are preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and inspection procedures.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and any site‑specific requirements.
