Job summary

FMI Composites LLC is seeking an experienced NDT Responsible Level III to lead the NDT program for composite materials and components. You will develop inspection techniques, interpret results, train personnel, and ensure compliance with industry standards and radiation safety.

The role requires strong communication, collaboration with manufacturing teams, and the ability to support quality and production objectives in a salary-exempt position.

Qualifications

• Requires ASNT or NAS-410 Level 3 in Radiography Testing (RT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) with composites experience.
• Experience developing and implementing NDT programs for composites.
• Knowledge of NAS 410 and industry safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain NDT capabilities in compliance with NAS 410 and customer requirements.
• Train and qualify NDT personnel and provide technical oversight.
• Perform and interpret complex inspections, including digital radiography (DR) and ultrasonic testing (UT).
• Maintain inspection records and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize inspection processes.
