Job summary

Applied Composites is seeking an NDT Level 3 (Ultrasonic) to lead the NDT facility and staff, overseeing ultrasonic inspection of laminate and sandwich composite parts for aerospace, defense, and space programs.

The role requires NAS 410 Level 3 UT certification, experience in composite UT-NDI testing, and proven ability to write and approve NDT procedures and scan plans while training staff. Indianapolis location; first shift.

Qualifications

• Current NAS 410 Level 3 certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
• ASNT NDT Level III certificate in UT preferred.
• Experience in composite UT-NDI testing (8+ yrs) including Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Interpret codes, standards, and specifications controlling NDT methods.
• Assume technical responsibility for the NDT facility and staff.
• Prepare and verify NDT procedures and scan plans from customer specs.
• Train, examine, and certify NDT personnel per NAS 410.
