Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC (ATS) seeks Level II VT/MT technicians for a shipyard contract near Charleston, SC. Competitive pay with per diem of $320/day (7 days) and potential overtime based on workload. NAVSEA experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include performing NDT examinations, setting up testing equipment, and guiding trainees while coordinating with department managers to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• NDT Level II VT and MT certification with documentation.
• NAVSEA procedures and shipyard work exposure preferred.
• Strong communication with other departments and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT examinations of materials per NAVSEA codes and standards.
• Set up and use NDT testing equipment.
• Provide guidance and OJT to trainees as appropriate.
• Interface with managers and clients to determine scope and priorities.
• Prepare written instructions and report examination results.
• Work independently and with the team; support others as needed.
• Participate in ATS and Client Safety Programs.
