Applied Technical Services, LLC (ATS) is seeking Level II VT/MT Technicians for Newport News Shipyard (NNS). You will work at NNS and be attached to ATS Chesapeake, VA office.

Responsibilities include VT/MT examinations, setting up NDT equipment, and reporting results. Candidates should have High School Diploma or GED; NAVSEA/shipyard experience is a plus; per diem is available with days worked; ITAR considerations apply.

Qualifications

• NDT Level II VT/MT Technician with documentation of education, training and experience.
• NAVSEA or shipyard experience is a plus.
• Additional NDT certifications are advantageous.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Perform VT and MT examinations according to procedures, codes and standards.
• Set up and utilize NDT testing equipment.
• Prepare written instructions and report examination results.
• Work independently and guide trainees as needed.
• Actively participate in ATS and client safety programs.
