Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC (ATS) is seeking NAVSEA Level II VT/MT/UTSW Technicians for a shipyard contract near Charleston, SC. The role offers competitive pay with per diem, and a 4-10s schedule (Mon–Thu) with OT available.

Responsibilities include performing NDT examinations, setting up equipment, and coordinating with managers and clients to meet priorities and report results. A strong safety mindset and ability to work in shipside environments are essential.

Qualifications

• Meet the minimum requirements for NDT Level II VT, MT & UTSW with documented education, training and experience.
• Certificate of Completion of VT, MT and UT Level I and UT Level II/UTSW Level II meeting SNT-TC-1A.
• NavSea/Shipyard work experience required; additional NDT certs are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform NAVSEA VT/MT/UTSW examinations per procedures, codes, standards and specs.
• Set up and utilize NDT testing equipment.
• Interface with managers and clients to determine scope and priorities; report results.
• Work independently and support team members; participate in ATS and client safety programs.
