Job summary

Apave America Inc. is seeking a full-time NDT Level II Technician in the Bismarck, ND area. The role covers radiography, ultrasonic thickness testing, magnetic particle, and penetrant methods, with autonomy on complex projects.

Ideal candidates hold ASNT Level II RT certification, strong NDT knowledge, and the ability to train assistants. Safety, quality, and reporting are core responsibilities in this field-based position.

Qualifications

• ASNT Level II certification for RT required.
• Thorough understanding of NDT principles, equipment operation, and applicable codes.
• Experience performing NDT inspections in relevant industries.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and assess results.
• Ability to train NDT assistants and supervise field work.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment and perform tests using assigned methods.
• Analyze test data and identify defects per codes and standards.
• Document inspection results with clear reports, photos, and recommendations.
• Follow ASNT guidelines, codes, and client specifications during inspections.
• Ensure equipment calibration and quality checks for reliable results.
• Communicate findings and corrective actions with engineers and clients.
