Job summary

Apave America Inc. in Artesia, NM is seeking an experienced NDT Level II RT/CR Technician for full-time roles on client sites. The role involves performing RT/CR, UT, MT, and PT inspections, interpreting results, and documenting detailed reports with adherence to ASNT standards.

On-the-job training and mentoring of Level I staff are included. Qualifications include ASNT Level II certification in RT/CR, 40 hours Radiation Safety, and ability to set up equipment; relocation assistance is offered

Qualifications

• ASNT Level II certification in RT/CR.
• Must have valid Level II NDT certification for RT/CR.
• 40 hours of Radiation Safety Training completed.
• Thorough understanding of NDT principles and equipment operation.
• Able to follow instructions and train junior staff.
• Proof of classroom and/or OJT hours for RT/CR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections using RT/CR/UT/MT/PT methods.
• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment, conduct tests, and interpret data.
• Document inspection results with detailed reports and photos.
• Ensure compliance with ASNT guidelines and client specifications.
• Maintain equipment calibration and perform quality control checks.
• Collaborate with engineers and QA staff to determine corrective actions.
• Follow safety protocols in varied environments, including heights and confined spaces.
