Job summary

Apave America Inc. seeks a skilled NDT Level II RT Technician in Corpus Christi, TX to perform inspections using RT, UT, MT, and PT, interpret results, and document findings per codes and standards.

You will calibrate equipment, guideLevel I personnel, ensure safety, and contribute to quality across manufacturing, oil and gas, aerospace, and power generation projects.

Requires ASNT Level II certification, extensive NDT knowledge, and the ability to work autonomously in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Level II NDT certification for the methods used (RT/UTT/MT/PT).
• Thorough understanding of NDT principles, equipment operation, and applicable codes and standards.
• Experience performing NDT inspections in relevant industries.
• Ability to interpret complex data and make accurate assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections setting up and calibrating equipment, conducting tests, interpreting data and identifying defects per codes and standards.
• Apply knowledge of NDT method limitations and select appropriate testing procedures.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to RT Level I personnel.
• Document inspection results with detailed reports, photos, and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with ASNT guidelines, codes, and client specifications.
• Maintain equipment calibration and perform quality checks.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality inspectors to discuss findings and corrective actions.
• Follow safety protocols in all work environments.
