Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an Inspector to ensure product quality through manual and automated measurements, documentation in Oracle, and conformance checks of materials and parts. The role requires hands-on use of precision tools and adherence to GD&T and process sheets.

Candidates should have 3+ years of inspection experience in manufacturing, willingness to obtain certifications, and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• 3 years inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use hand tools and measuring devices as required.
• Intermediate understanding of blueprint and process sheet interpretation, including GD&T.
• Visual acuity required; willingness to pass exam on offer.
• Willingness to obtain Braze, Weld and Solder inspection certification.

Responsibilities

• Utilize manual or automated measurement/testing equipment to assure product quality.
• Identify non-conforming parts and document inspection records in Oracle.
• Inspect all raw materials and purchased parts for conformance to design requirements.
• Apply statistical process/control techniques as required.
• Perform duties per internal process specifications and third-party requirements.
• Support root cause analysis and communicate with team on deficiencies and new processes.
