Job summary

MISTRAS Group Inc. - Services is seeking an Assistant Technician to support Level II NDE Technician in Maryland. The role involves assisting with setting up and tearing down equipment, performing maintenance, and documenting services.

You will learn by doing under supervision, ensuring safety and adherence to NRC criteria. The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel occasionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read technical documents and engineering specifications is preferred.
• Proven ability to communicate with clients, supervisors, and co-workers.
• Willingness to adapt to changing schedules and travel as needed.
• Must be able to follow precise directions and procedures.
• Capable of operating radiographic equipment under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with setting up and tearing down of equipment.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, calibrations, and overall upkeep of equipment and facilities.
• Assist with proper documentation and reports of services provided.
• Learn and abide by company policies and procedures.
• Capable of being certified as trustworthy and reliable per NRC criteria.
