Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) designs, develops, and manufactures advanced composite components and performs non-destructive tests (NDT) on materials and assemblies using radiography, ultrasound, penetrant, and other methods.

The role requires setting up equipment, following test instructions, and applying knowledge of codes and standards. A Level I certification is preferred, with relocation provided and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College science courses or equivalent education background.
• Ability to pass Level I certification exams; current Level I certification preferred.
• US persons only; relocation provided.

Responsibilities

• Set up and standardize equipment; conduct tests per written and verbal instructions.
• Be familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique; knowledge of codes, standards and contracts.
• Know product manufacturing and inspection technologies.
• Assist in designing special test fixtures and test setups.
