Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Non-Destruction Inspection Technician (NDI) II to inspect aerospace weapon systems components for structural integrity using nondestructive methods and to perform fluid analysis.

Responsibilities include determining test methods, preparing fluids, interpreting results, analyzing wear metal content, establishing radiographic areas, monitoring exposure, and performing NDI on structures and components.

Qualifications

• NAS 410 or ASNT-CP-189 Level II qualification required.
• 3+ years aviation inspector experience.
• Completion of NDI Level II training course.
• Must be able to obtain facility credentials/authorization.

Responsibilities

• Determine test method and prepare fluids and parts for nondestructive inspection.
• Interpret NDI test results and provide information about defects to repair center.
• Analyze wear metal content reports and recommend corrective action.
• Perform nondestructive inspection on structures, components, and systems.
• Operate and maintain nondestructive inspection equipment.
