Job summary

Quality Inspector - NDI at Aero Bending Company in Palmdale, CA is responsible for applying non-destructive testing methods to detect defects and ensure parts meet strict quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is required.
• Certification in at least one NDT method (ASNT Level I or II in UT/MT/PT).
• Minimum of 2 years experience performing non-destructive inspections in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and inspection standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct non-destructive inspections using ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, magnetic particle testing, and dye penetrant testing.
• Interpret inspection results and identify defects according to standards.
• Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports for QA and engineering review.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations during inspections.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by providing feedback on inspection processes and trends.
