Job summary

RIMEPRO INC in California is seeking an NDT Inspector to perform non-destructive testing on forged, machined and manufactured components to ensure compliance with customer specifications, drawings, industry standards and quality requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience with MT, PT, UT and VT methods, interpret specifications, maintain inspection records, and work in a precision-focused manufacturing environment. Knowledge of ASNT, ASTM, and AMS standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience performing multiple NDT methods (MT, PT, UT, VT) and interpreting technical drawings/specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections using MT, PT, UT, VT and other methods per certification level.
• Inspect at various manufacturing stages to verify conformance with customer specs and drawings.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and inspection procedures.
• Identify, document and report discontinuities and non-conformities.
• Complete inspection reports, certifications and quality documentation accurately.
• Ensure activities comply with ASNT, ASTM, AMS and internal standards.
• Verify calibration and proper operation of NDT equipment before use.
• Maintain inspection equipment, reference standards and testing materials.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve quality concerns.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions related to product quality.

Position Overview

The NDT Inspector is responsible for performing non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections on forged, machined, and manufactured components to ensure compliance with customer specifications, engineering drawings, industry standards, and quality requirements. This position plays a critical role in verifying product integrity while supporting the production of high-quality components for demanding industries such as aerospace, defense, energy, and industrial manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has experience performing multiple NDT methods, interpreting specifications, maintaining accurate inspection records, and working in a manufacturing environment where precision and quality are top priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing inspections using approved methods, including Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Visual Testing (VT), and other applicable inspection methods based on certification level.
• Conduct inspections at various stages of the manufacturing process to verify compliance with customer specifications and engineering requirements.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and inspection procedures.
• Identify, document, and report discontinuities, defects, and non-conforming conditions.
• Accurately complete inspection reports, certifications, and quality documentation.
• Ensure all inspection activities comply with ASNT, ASTM, AMS, customer, and internal quality standards.
